For many years I have consistently placed in the top 1% of all Calgary realtors for MLS residential listings on an annual basis. This comes as a result of my long standing fascination with the housing industry, which has been the source of my ambition dating back to my high school years, where I took on construction related summer jobs. From there I took an appraisal course at a community college and went on to enjoy 25 successful years as a licensed realtor in Calgary, the latter half of which I have been a full broker. Over these years I have developed a strong, intuitive knowledge of residential real estate, and one of the reasons I take pride in my work is that I am able to effectively communicate and share this knowledge with my clients. This allows me to guarantee my clients make the best decisions when it comes to buying and/or selling their homes.
My background in appraisal offers several advantages to both buyers and sellers, setting me apart from other realtors. When it comes to buyers I am able to ensure that they do not overpay and that the price that they do pay makes sense. When it comes to sellers, I am able to integrate my appraisal skills into my already extensive knowledge of the market, resulting in the property going for what it is worth in a timely fashion. It also helps that I have dealt with real estate not only in most of the areas within the city, but outlying areas as well.
Being as active as I am in the industry, I remain excited and continue to set ever more challenging goals for myself with existing passions such as inner city development and new home construction.
